Biography/Research Interest:

Dr. Ramcharan was raised in Toronto, Canada: where he conducted his undergraduate studies and then went on to graduate from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He has over 6 years of clinical practice both inTexas and South Carolina where he worked in a multidisciplinary practice with MD's and DO's. Dr. Ramcharan is an instructor in the Clinical, Diagnostic and Chiropractic Sciences department. In addition, he is part-time faculty in Clevelands Research Center and an attending clinician in the Health Center overseeing the clinical internship.  Dr. Ramcharan is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner and board certified in Manipulation under Anesthesia. He has also completed over 100 postgraduate education hours in acupuncture, sports medicine, pain management, health promotion and clinical research, respectively. Currently, he is a candidate for a Masters in Public Health degree at the University of Kansas-School of Medicine. His research interests include proprioceptive / balance deficits in the shoulder and lower extremities and public health policy on infection control.
