We encourage you to initiate the application process 1 year prior to your expected entrance date.

You should apply before you have completed all prerequisites, in order to have your

transcripts evaluated.

• The application must be completed in full.
• A statement of motivation is required for the chiropractic degree and must be typed with correct spelling and grammar, one-page single spaced or two-page double spaced (minimum), and include the following four areas:
  • A personal history and indication of why you are pursuing a degree in chiropractic
  • An indication of your understanding of chiropractic
  • A summary of your academic background and how it has prepared you for success in chiropractic
  • Your academic strengths and how they apply to this program of study
• A letter of recommendation is required for the chiropractic degree. It must be from a chiropractor, health care professional, or college instructor. You may download a recommendation form.
• A high school transcript or equivalent is required for the AA and BS degrees.
• All official college transcripts are required for the AA, BS and DC degrees. They must be sent directly to the Office of Admissions.
• Applicants may be required to participate in a final interview prior to matriculation.
• Applicants will be notified in writing of the decision on admission to Cleveland Chiropractic College.
